a sweet surprise

so much for trying to write a blog every now and then, after June 2012 wala na.. :) many things have happened but i wasn't able to write even a single post, a trying hard blogger that I am..haha oh well, my blog naman is sort of a personal diary..so here I am posting again on my birthday week (every  birthday lang yata may mood magsulat*wink*)..

i didn't really made plans for my birthday.. no party, and no dinner plans with friends due to conflict in schedule..and i didn't even file a birthday leave from work since it fell in the middle of the week...i had lunch with my elder sister and then my sister insisted on preparing a simple dinner in our mini apartment in Pasig so we invited few colleagues and friends  but since it was a short notice and they already had plans only few came but we still enjoyed the mini celebration.

aside from the above happenings what also made my day special is  the sweetest surprise I've received..

 flowers and stuffed bear delivery....yeah, i have received these kind of stuffs before but what made this different was it came from a special person who is miles away and it took a lot of effort on his part to do such thing...what i know is he's not really  into the "surprise" thingy  and the gullible me believed it and to spare my self from disappointment I didn't expect for anything special on my birthday..(but according to him its all part of the plan to mislead me) and so I was clueless, so when our lobby guard called me up I thought he's informing me that 'manong' (food vendor) has arrived but then he told me that there are flowers in the lobby for me..my initial reaction is "weeh kuya hindi nga? baka hindi para sakin?"..kuya  guard answer was "Mam kayo naman po si ricell ann quito di ba??" (nasungitan pa ko..haha) so when i went to get the flowers, i was again surprised in the presence of the large stuffed bear in my favorite color..*blushing* upon signing the delivery receipt, it did not indicate who it came from.the delivery guy told me that the card might be inside (flowers were covered)... i was puzzled..he did not immediately crossed my mind but then kanino pa kaya galing (feeling may secret admirer?)..i did not found any card and i am hesitant to ask him so i inspected the flowers for a clue..so when i saw the flower shop address, i knew then it was from him..he later confirmed it and apparently he asked one of his cousins (super grateful to her) to buy the stuffs and have it delivered to me.. it was indeed a sweet surprise.
my fb wall post was flooded with birthday greetings, received calls and texts from family and friends.. and im very thankful for having such great people in my life.. God has been really good to me and things has been going my way, i am showered with lots of blessings..it's definitely a birthday to remember..
