a sweet surprise

so much for trying to write a blog every now and then, after June 2012 wala na.. :) many things have happened but i wasn't able to write even a single post, a trying hard blogger that I am..haha oh well, my blog naman is sort of a personal diary..so here I am posting again on my birthday week (every  birthday lang yata may mood magsulat*wink*)..

i didn't really made plans for my birthday.. no party, and no dinner plans with friends due to conflict in schedule..and i didn't even file a birthday leave from work since it fell in the middle of the week...i had lunch with my elder sister and then my sister insisted on preparing a simple dinner in our mini apartment in Pasig so we invited few colleagues and friends  but since it was a short notice and they already had plans only few came but we still enjoyed the mini celebration.

aside from the above happenings what also made my day special is  the sweetest surprise I've received..

busy bee..

as much as i wanted to post blog regularly, i still wasn't able to do it...the whole month of May passed without even a single entry post from me.. got really busy...we left our place in Caloocan and moved  in to a new home a bit closer with a place of work, dealing with study related issues and visit from the director this week..

I'm also having a hard time choosing which blog should I maintained, this one or my tumblr account since before I'm using tumblr in posting a quote, or random photo or thoughts while I've used this blogspot account for more detailed entries (sort of story telling and lots of pics)..and to be honest close friends and cousins were the only the few people who are reading my post..:) so that's it for now..:) back to work..:)

holy week 2012

holy week is a sacred time of the year..for some this is time to relax and hit the beach and for the others to bond with families  since it was considered as a public holiday ..but most importantly, this is the time that we repent our sins and  remember the passion and Resurrection of  Jesus Christ.

while browsing news feed on Facebook. I stumbled upon the page of  Starbucks Singapore and saw the post for new Sakura series of tumblers and water bottles with pink floral design... and so, that started my quest for the water bottle.. I sent messages to my cousins in Singapore if they can buy me one (a relative will go there by next month and yes I was obsessed..hihi)....then, I check out the Starbucks Philippines Facebook page and posted the SB-SG link and ask if when will the series be available here, (I haven't visited any SB branch recently,co'z I'm into the milk tea craze) and with the quick response of the page admin I've learned that it was already available but with limited stocks.

I quickly dialed the number of branches nearby my office but to no avail..the water bottle was

been busy this past month due to additional trainings and a new project assigned to me.. same position but work is a way  lot more serious than before and now i really feel that i'm part of the team..:) anyway, ill try to write blogs as often as i can not on a monthly basis...haha so now my first blog for march is our first meet up with Aljona for this year.. since she's already based in Tacloban, we rarely see her. we last saw her in our Singapore trip last October. she texted us last week informing us that she'll be in Manila, we first planned to go swimming at their condo in the Fort on her first night here but because of conflicts on schedules the planned didn't pushed through and instead planned a meet up and dinner by Sunday..

It's been a week since my birthday... and since I was busy that day and the week that followed I wasn't able to write a blog... Last year I wrote an "emo" blog  regarding my quarter-life issues, not being able to practice my profession, not being able to provide for my parents etc. (see related post: "my very first blog").. 

After a year, I still can't say that all issues had already been resolved but

Chatime!!!!!! good tea..good time.:)

after a stressful exam and interview with a  company, my cousin Liezel and I decided to de-stressed by having pearl milk tea..at that time we were at robinsons forum and  i thought the chatime   "pioneer" was there..it so happened that it was at Pioneer center..so following the directions from my friend dinna who is a regular patron  of that branch (see related post chatime pc) and also chatime lover we were able to find it...and so far this is the best lounge type chatime branch i've been to...
